First United Methodist Church of Eastpoint is thrilled to announce the creation of a brand new Youth Center at its 317 Patton Avenue location in Eastpoint, Florida. This youth center will offer new opportunities like Scouts and an all-day VBS from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm during the week of July 23 – 27, 2018. The center will also participate in the exciting new “Bring Me a Book Franklin” program called Fantastic Fridays later this summer. Participating children will receive a book and a field trip to a local site in Franklin County. There is also a plan for Friday Night Vespers and Social Time for teens aged 13-17.

The Youth Center is holding two cook-outs for the community to provide more information about the upcoming opportunities it will provide to the community. The first is at the Armory in Apalachicola, located at 66 4th Street, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6:30 pm, while the second is planned for May 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Eastpoint UMC Youth Center, located at 317 Patton Drive.
